Before You Reach Out
-
Most new students begin with Regulate, which provides a supportive introduction to Sanctuary's approach.
-
If you're looking for individualized support, Yoga Therapy may be the best place to start. If you'd like to begin practicing in a group setting, classes are a great option.
-
No prior experience is required. Build and Regulate are both accessible entry points, and the teaching is precise enough that you will learn how to move and breathe correctly from the start.
-
Just yourself. If you don't have a mat, we have one you can borrow, and props are available in the studio. Wear something you can move in. If you have a water bottle you prefer, feel free to bring it, but it is not required.
-
Anything that allows you to move freely and that you feel comfortable in. There is no dress code and no aesthetic to keep up with.
-
It depends on how often you plan to practice and what kind of support you're looking for. If you're not sure yet, start with a drop-in class or the 10-class card. Once you have a sense of your rhythm, the monthly membership options make more sense. Reach out if you want help thinking it through.
Ready to Get Started?
This is one-on-one work that brings together clinical knowledge, traditional yoga, and nervous system expertise to address your specific patterns, history, and goals. It's not a class. It's not a quick fix. It's the kind of work that compounds over time and changes how you understand yourself. When you're ready, we're here.
